Our Policies

CLIENT'S RIGHTS

You as the client have the right to refuse any part of the training plan, class and/or including any training exercises they feel are inappropriate. We recommend you openly communicates with your trainer, and the training plan may be adjusted so that it works for you! You always have the right to ask further questions and we want to ensure you are clear on all relevant details before consenting to any training.

We have the right to discontinue any training services or classes should you go against any of our training policies.

CLIENT COMMUNICATION

At this time phone calls are limited to paid consultations only. Please contact me via my preferred method of contact, which is e-mail.

I will respond within 24 hours, aside from weekends which will be within 48 hours, and up to 3x per week. If you do not receive a response please e-mail for further communication and feedback. 

I am available for texting feedback to review photos and videos only, but please note that video quality is not always well maintained via text message.

HEALTH & VACCINATIONS

Dogs that are sick or recovering from illness are not permitted to take part in class, unless permission is given by your instructor. If your dog is intact please disclose this prior to booking so we can ensure that they are safe during your training classes or sessions. If your dog is in heat they may not attend group classes. You are encouraged to attend the class without your dog, however.

All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations or have had a recent titer in order to attend group classes.

DOGS IN CLASS

All dogs must be on leash during classes unless instructed otherwise. No dog-dog interactions are to take place during group classes unless permission has been granted by the instructor. This is for the health and safety of the dogs and students.

Acceptable Equipment:

  • harness

  • solid leash (no retractable leashes)

  • flat buckle collar

  • head collar

  • basket muzzle

Unacceptable Equipment:

  • prong or pinch collars

  • choke chain collars

  • shock collars

  • chain martingale collars

We do not permit alpha rolling or 'pinning' of dogs, collar or leash corrections, yelling or intimidation, ear pinching, tongue pinching, or any other aversive and confrontational methods. Should you perform any of the above listed methods during a class you will be excused.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Group Classes

You must cancel within 7 business days of booking for a refund. This allows us time to fill your space in the class. All classes and training services are non-refundable.

Private Sessions

We have a 48 hour cancellation policy for all private sessions or the session will be forfeited. All services have an expiry date, as stated when you purchase your package. Please make note of this expiry date.

RE-SCHEDULING

For private training sessions you may reschedule up to 2 times otherwise you will forfeit that session.​

Missed Classes

We do not offer make-up sessions for group classes. Virtual classes are recorded and the recording will be available for you to watch should you miss a class.
